Where else to learn animal photography than at the zoo? Pick up your camera and admire the inhabitants of our oldest zoo - Zoo Liberec. There, you will be guided by photographer Roman Šimek, who has already scored twice in the prestigious Czech Nature Photo competition with his animal photographs. He will pass on his years of experience to you during a 6-hour animal photography course, during which you will learn a lot of theory and even more practice. You'll learn how to work with composition, capture the magic of the moment, and master eliminating unnatural environments. The animal photography course takes place at the zoo of your choice in small groups of 3 to 10 participants. There you will be taken care of by photographer Roman Šimek, who scored twice in the prestigious Czech Nature Photo competition with his animal photos.
You can choose between a classic photography course or a premium option, where you can send one selected image for post-production or arrange a telephone or online consultation for post-production of your chosen photo.
With both options, you can then look forward to an information-packed 6 hours during which you will improve your photography skills and learn how to capture photos that catch your eye.
You will need the following for the course (can be hired by prior arrangement if required):
- digital SLR camera (digital compact with manual settings)
- a lens with a longer focal length, i.e. 200 mm or more (not a requirement)
- sunshade (not required)
- memory card
The price of the photocourse does not include admission to the zoo.

Animal photography course Hello. Please inform me whether I can change the zoo (during the year) after buying the voucher, even if I choose e.g. Olomouc. For Olomouc you have wolf and giraffe photography listed in the offer. It is possible to photograph other animals in Olomouc, e.g. reptiles. Thank you
