The tour of the Gambrinus brewery starts in the historical and newly reconstructed brewery built in 1869. In addition to the history facts, he will have his first beer tasting and learn right away about the ingredients. He will take a peek not only into the historical brewhouse, but also the current brewhouse, where he will watch the brewing process.
He will visit a preserved historical fermenting room where he will learn about the production processes of the past. And then he will jump from the past to the present... and maybe even the future? He'll go see the cylindro conical fermenters where he'll get a glimpse of the latest methods of beer fermenting. Here, he can play pretend to be a brewmaster. He will taste the still-maturing beer, which is usually done only by brewers. Is it mature enough or does it still need time? This is where he will test whether his palate has been trained well.
And the tour ends in a full circle. In the historical brehouse, a brewer will be waiting to tell him about the principles of proper care of the golden liquid and show him the different styles of drafting. All this while tasting delicious unpasteurised and unfiltered beers. Cheers!
