Under the guidance of experienced satchel maker Václav Matoušek, you will try your hand at working with high-quality Italian cowhide and take away an original belt that will last for years. You can choose from several belt colours and widths, so you can easily create a suit accessory or a casual belt for everyday wear.

Within a few hours, you'll go through the theory and of course there will be plenty of time to learn basic techniques such as cutting, gluing, sewing or edge polishing.

An experiential course of leather belt making takes place in a workshop in Liberec. There, an experienced bag maker will take you on and pass on his know-how, and then you can try everything out with your own hands.The whole experience lasts 4-5 hours, so even the biggest perfectionists can make their belt to perfection.

You can create your belt in several shades, in light brown, dark brown and black. You also have a choice of three belt widths - 30mm (formal), 35mm (versatile), 40mm (for jeans). For all widths, there are high-quality belt buckles that will make the belt last for ages. So think carefully about what you want to wear the belt with and choose the colour and width accordingly.

You can monogram the belt (free of charge), or have any graphic stamped on the belt (at an additional cost).

Small refreshments such as tea, coffee, water and snacks will be available during the course, but feel free to bring your own snacks.

The course is run in small groups of 2 to 4 participants.
