Experience day in the footsteps of World War II Domažlice

A military enthusiast packs a day or two's worth of food, puts on a U.S. Army jumpsuit, and sets off on a military adventure! He goes back in time to the days of World War II. He will follow in the footsteps of General Patton, who liberated West Bohemia. He will get into a US Army vehicle and take a guided tour of over 70 km. The route leads through the beautiful countryside of Šumava and Bohemian Forest. At many places there are memorials to General Patton's Third Army and he learns what happened here during the war. The military experience is all the more powerful for him when he sees models of World War II weapons or tries his hand at driving a military vehicle. The journey is full of memories and legends and the experience is unforgettable. Army Day at Domažlice is a one or two-day event and can be completed by the army enthusiast alone or with two other adventurers. On a two-day army mission, he has the choice of staying overnight in a guesthouse or in a specially prepared canvas trailer in a sleeping bag. So, which will he choose? The next day, he continues his journey around the Iron Curtain and the original German villages in the borderlands. Upon completion of the event, they receive a commemorative certificate and a CD with photos from the expedition. The military adventure begins!
