After arriving at the inspiring FilmSpace space in Prague's Vršovice, you will be introduced to the world of modern calligraphy and lettering. Under the guidance of experienced typographer Alexandra Deus, you will learn the basic tools, brush foam techniques and the principles of modern handwritten lettering.

The workshop takes place step by step and at a relaxed pace, so even complete beginners will enjoy it. Gradually you will practice the basic strokes, creating individual letters, combining them into words and working with rhythm and text composition. During the course there is room for individual consultations, practical tips and your own creative experimentation.

You will have all the tools and working materials ready on site. At the end of the workshop you will take away your own created work, practice sheets and inspiration for further work at home.
