Tasting of authentic Cuban rums Prague

Gourmets will enjoy this 90-minute tasting led by professional bartenders who fell in love with these spirits years ago. They will share their knowledge and interesting facts about the history and production, and go into details of these Cuban gems:

• Havana Club 7y—a unique combination of rum and the smell of tobacco, tropic fruit, and roasted nuts with a pleasantly bitter aroma. When taking a sip, you taste vanilla, molasses, and toasted oak wood. When this rum blended, some if it is always returned to the barrels for further maturation, and so no rum is younger than 7 years, and the age of the oldest ones can span several decades.
• Santiago De Cuba Anejo—a blend of differently aged rums with a subtle wooden flavor with vanilla and orange notes that tastes amazing with ice cubes and in mixed drinks.
• Pacto Navio—a unique blend of 10 rums, which has been in production for over 100 years now using a secret recipe. It smells of dried fruit, flowers, vanilla, and caramel. When taking a sip, you feel spicy tones, citrus fruits, cinnamon, and a little bit of cream.
• Havana Club Selección De Maestros—an exceptional rum with aromas of pecan nuts and spices, which it obtains by maturing in wooden barrels. The flavor has a strong presence of cocoa, coffee, sweet tobacco, and brown spices. The finish is pleasantly smoky and combined with spices and candied fruit.
• Ron Mulata Elixir—inspired by the legend of Oshun, the patron saint of Cuba and goddess of love and fertility, this rum has an intense sweetness and raisin flavor.

The price of the tasting includes:

• five Cuban rum samples
• a carafe of water (1 l)
• a salty snack (sticks, nuts)
