The outdoor escape game in Ostrava combines a walk with virtual reality. Charge your phone and set aside 2 hours of your time. In 1 to 6 players, you'll take a trip from Mercury to Neptune without leaving Ostrava.

What is the escape game in Ostrava all about?

The outdoor escape game in Ostrava starts at the Thinker Statue in front of the University of Science and Technology in Ostrava-Poruba. It is not for nothing that you start from here, from the character nicknamed the Thinker on the globe.

During the 120-minute, 3.5-kilometre walk, you will join the passengers of a travel agency that organises tours to space. You'll learn about the entire solar system, including the real sizes and distances of the planets.

At each stop you will complete a quiz and answer a question to ponder. From now on, you'll feel at home in the Solar System. We're at home in it, too.

A game app on your mobile device will guide you through the entire game. If you get stuck, the hints will help.

Don't expect complicated tasks, but rather a relaxed walk of discovery. Evasion in Ostrava will take you through the campus of the Technical University.

You will go on a 3.5 km long trip. You can do it with a dog, stroller or wheelchair. The experience is suitable for 1 to 6 players from 10 years old.

Program

For 120 minutes you will turn into thinkers who explore the Solar System. You will see an elaborate model of the planets in realistic sizes and distances.

The game starts in Ostrava-Poruba at the Thinker Statue on the premises of the Technical University. It is suitable for 1 to 6 players for about 120 minutes.

You can play at any time without prior reservation. All you need is a charged mobile phone (Android 4.4 and higher or iOS 8.0 and higher). Make sure you have enough data and download the game app.

What to bring: Comfortable clothes and shoes. Think about stopping to play and dress well. In the summer, a headgear and a bottle of drink will come in handy, maybe some paper and pencil, or a power bank to charge your phone.
