A day as a winemaker in the Mikulov region with cheese making and wine tasting

There is truth in wine, but what is the truth about wine? Find out during an experiential day where you become a winemaker and discover what goes behind a bottle of the good stuff.

From a toast to making your own label to a walk through the vineyards of Mikulov

You'll start with a glass of refreshing Frizzante, which will set you up for a relaxing day of sights and tastes. You'll visit the wine barn, where you'll taste samples of wines straight from the production. This is a completely different taste experience than wine poured from a bottle with a label. Speaking of labels - you'll have the unique chance to make your own. It doesn't matter if you're not an artistic talent, that's not the point at all.

Together with the other participants, you'll have a walk through the vineyard of the Vican family winery. For example, you will follow in the footsteps of the film Berry by going to the famous bench of Václav Postránecký, on which Michalica used to sit as an avid winemaker.

Guided tasting of Moravian wines and making your own cheese

When you arrive back, you'll be treated to a guided tasting of 6 Moravian wines, complete with a cheese and oat board of goodies from the family farm. You will satisfy both small and big hunger. While you enjoy the symphony of flavours and aromas, an experienced sommelier will tell you about the history and present of wine.

But it doesn't end there. At the Pálava Farm you will get a glimpse of the cheese production process and you will also be able to try your hand at making homemade corbáčky, where you will experience how the cheese delicacy is made step by step.

In addition to the memories of a day well spent, you will take away a tasting set of 4 bottles of wine from Vican Winery paired with artisan cheeses to share the experience with a loved one or to reminisce on your own.
