Enjoy 3.5 hours of creative relaxation and create a unique work of art to decorate your home or office. You don't have to go anywhere, during your individual encaustic course an experienced teacher will come to your living room or studio, all over South Moravia.

In the comfort of your own home, you will learn the basic techniques of wax painting without having to buy anything to create - you will borrow everything. Should you get a taste for encaustic, you will learn during the course what you will need to create and where to get it most cheaply.

What is encaustic?

Encaustic is an artistic technique that involves painting with melted wax mixed with pigments on wood, paper and canvas. It originated in Ancient Greece and is now enjoying a well-deserved comeback - mainly thanks to modern tools such as special irons and pens, as well as experimentation with a range of other techniques. The resulting images have beautifully rich colours, unique texture and character that cannot be imitated by other techniques.

You can enjoy a private encaustic course on your own, or invite up to 3 other creative souls to get creative together. If you're looking for a creative date or creating for the whole family, you'll definitely come into your own.
