This tour around the Radegast brewery is waiting for you in the Moravian—Silesian Beskids area, in the small village of Nošovice in northern Moravia. There, in 1966, the foundation stone was laid for a brewery which a few years later was named after the Old Slavic god of sun, fire, crops, harvest, and hospitality.
You will enjoy an interesting guided tour, during which you will learn how the beer is brewed, matured, fermented, and bottled. You'll also head straight to the production area with cylindrical conical tanks, the bottling area, and to the brewhouse of the brewery's founder, which is controlled by trout. To be exact, they control the water to make sure the quality is top-notch. Apart from water, the beer recipe is also made sure to be of the highest quality. It's exactly the same as when the first brewer made it—delicious and unmistakably bitter.
You can also look forward to talking about the tour over a glass of chilled Radegast beer, which you will enjoy in the observation tower that offers a stunning view of the surrounding Beskids mountains. The beer tasting is only for gourmets over 18 years of age. Younger connoisseurs can look forward to a non-alcoholic beer. The tour takes approximately 2 hours.
