The rallycross day starts after 9am when the driver chooses his equipment. He puts on his gloves, helmet, goggles, boots, and overalls, goes through the introductory briefing, and hits the track! Rallycross buggies are perfect, they are lightweight, they have 120 horsepower, and a six-speed sequential transmission. This means that the buggy can fire off at just a little slower than the speed of light. It's going to be a hell of a ride! Over the course of the rallycross day, he'll do 20 laps on the race track, and learn all about driving theory, equipment maintenance, flag signalling, and this magical sport in general.
