Furry, scaly and feathered animal lovers, watch out! Right now you have a unique chance to go behind the scenes at the zoo and get to know the animals up close and in depth. Go on a VIP tour with a keeper to Zoo Tábor - the largest zoo in South Bohemia and the largest private zoo in the Czech Republic.

For 90 minutes you will become part of zoo life - you will walk through selected enclosures, observe the animals up close and learn many interesting facts directly from the keepers who feed them daily and know their every wink.

After the tour is over (or before it), you can walk through the whole of Zoo Tabor at your own pace. The zoo is home to more than 500 animals and over 80 species from around the world. More than half of them are endangered - like the Ussuri tiger or the Arctic wolf. The enclosures are spacious and natural, yet designed to let you get really close to the animals.

And there's the contact zoo, where you can pet and scratch goats, pigs and other cute inhabitants.

VIP entrance to Tábor Zoo is designed for up to four people and offers a unique opportunity to see behind the scenes of the zoo accompanied by an experienced keeper.The tour starts at 13:30 and lasts approximately 90 minutes. During the hour and a half, you will visit places where the average visitor cannot go - you will look into selected enclosures and aviaries, get to know the animals up close and learn a lot of interesting facts about them directly from the person who takes care of them every day.

The experience is suitable for children aged 6 and up and all animal lovers for whom a simple zoo entrance is not enough. The tour takes place in all weather conditions - comfortable clothing and footwear are recommended.

The experience includes a ticket to Zoo Tabor. You can explore the zoo before the guided tour with a keeper, or enjoy it in peace after the tour is over. You can use the VIP entrance on weekends and public holidays, or on weekdays at a discounted price.
