It starts on the ground: Welcome drink and quick check-in
From the moment you arrive, you’ll feel the brilliant atmosphere. At reception, you’ll receive all the information you need, be welcomed with a welcome drink and get a rundown of everything waiting for you up in the sky.
And what about backpacks? You won’t need large bags in the air. You can leave all your belongings downstairs in the tent, on the storage shelves. They are not lockable, but the area is supervised throughout, and only you and the other participants in your session have access to it.
Your first lift-off and a test of nerves
The first journey up is an experience in itself. As the table slowly rises from the ground and the people below become smaller, you’ll feel a little rush of adrenaline in your stomach.
The platform does not simply hang still once it reaches the top. It rotates slowly, giving everyone at the table a full 360° view of Prague. Best of all, the platform turns smoothly and does not sway at all, so there is no need to worry about any uncomfortable rocking.
For the braver among you, there is another highlight: reclining seats. Leaning back and lying almost horizontally 50 metres above the ground is seriously intense. Of course, I had to try it, but I admit I was gripping the table rather tightly!
Fantastic food, wine and beer – with something for everyone!
Dinner in the Sky is not just about the height – it is a complete gourmet experience. The best part is that the locations, chefs and menus change every year, so even if you return next year, it will be a completely different experience.

For everyone: No need to worry if you have dietary requirements – there are excellent options for vegans, vegetarians, as well as non-alcoholic alternatives for drivers and non-drinkers.

A practical table: There is a large table directly in front of you, where you can safely place your phone and take photos or videos of everything. If you come as a pair, the staff will gladly take a photo of you using your phone or camera.
Not just food service – a proper SHOW
What really blew me away was the atmosphere. Do not expect stiff, formal service or food simply being handed out on plates. It is one big show from start to finish.
The entertainment comes courtesy of an absolutely brilliant, funny and smiling team – and I really do mean everyone. The good mood is infectious, from the receptionist on the ground to the serving staff and chefs up in the air. The whole experience lasts approximately 1.5 hours. I genuinely had a huge smile on my face throughout.
When should you go?
Choosing the right time depends on what you expect from the experience, how long you would like to spend on the platform and what your budget is. Here is an overview of what each option offers:
Lunch (Daylight) – The best value for a full menu with spectacular views
If you want a full gourmet flight with several courses, while also looking for better value than an evening sitting, choose lunch. In clear daylight, you will enjoy the clearest, sharpest and most far-reaching views of Prague and the surrounding area. The flight lasts around 40 minutes.
Tapas & Cava (Afternoon / Daylight) – The best-value way to try it
Fancy experiencing the thrill of being 50 metres above the ground, enjoying excellent drinks and a light bite, but do not have time for a multi-course menu or want to keep costs down? Tapas & Cava is the most affordable option. The flight is shorter, at around 20 minutes, but you will still enjoy the atmosphere and daylight views to the fullest.
Dinner in the Sky EXCLUSIVE – at sunset (19:00 – 20:30) – THE ULTIMATE EXPERIENCE
If you want the very best and are looking for an unforgettable atmosphere, make sure you secure tickets for sunset. It is the most expensive option and usually sells out first, but for good reason. Watching the golden hour, the changing colours of the sky and Prague gradually lighting up from 50 metres above the ground is truly unique – and the crowning moment of the whole concept.
A classic evening dinner beneath the night sky. The glowing, illuminated Prague below creates a magical backdrop. A great tip: If you are a little nervous about heights, choose the dark! As you cannot see the drop beneath you as clearly as you can during the day, the height feels much less intimidating and you can enjoy the experience even more.
Useful tips for your visit

What to wear: Even though we went up in September, there was no wind at all and trousers and a T-shirt were more than enough. Naturally, though, it depends on the particular day and weather conditions.

Storage for your belongings: You can safely leave larger bags and backpacks downstairs in the tent, on the storage shelves. They are not lockable, but the area is monitored at all times and is used exclusively by people attending your session.

Afterparty on the ground: Once you are back on the ground, the experience does not have to end. There is a bar downstairs where you can enjoy another drink and take your time soaking up all the impressions.
Final verdict
Dinner in the Sky offers the perfect combination of adrenaline, outstanding food and brilliant entertainment. If you are looking for an extraordinary gift for someone special, or want to treat yourself to something you will remember for years to come, this is an absolute winner.
For me, it is a 10/10 – I would go again in a heartbeat!
