Water sports are not just about kayaking or canoeing. New and new disciplines are always emerging, which promise a good dose of fun and often adrenaline. Come and see if you are still missing one among the sports you have tried and make it right. Fun guaranteed!
Flyboarding
Flyboarding has only been around since 2011, but it has already taken off all over the world. And you can fly too! What is it all about? The water pressure from the jet ski goes into a hose that leads to the flyboard and divides into two nozzles under your feet. The pressure of the water is powerful enough to shoot you up to 10 metres above the water's surface. It's not rocket science, anyone who isn't afraid can fly. All you have to do is brace your legs, balance your ankles and accept that you might take a little dip before you figure it out.
Hoverboard
The next in the series of flying adventures is called the hoverboard and it's the little brother of the flyboard. Like it, it is connected to a scooter. In this case, the water pressure is aimed directly at the board under your feet. The nozzle doesn't split into two - there's only one at the back of the hoverboard. You'll need snowboarding experience to control it, but you can do without it. Those with better body co-ordination will just swim less. You can also dare to do some tricks in the form of spins or somersaults. Nothing worse than getting wet.
Jetpack
You don't have to lug this pack around. The jetpack will carry you, up to several metres high. Ideally, you'll fly over the water, but expect it to take a while to get comfortable with the jetpack controls. Flying underwater is a bonus. After a bit of practice, you'll be flying above the water like Iron Man. If you love water, adrenaline and outdoing yourself, you'll love this experience!
Wakeboard
Can't go a winter without a board? You don't have to endure the summer quietly to get back on the wake. Try wakeboarding, where you can get your board on in the heat. And before you get your hands on it, you'll be refreshed in the water. The whole idea of wakeboarding is that you ride a board that is attached to a boat or an electric lift by a structure. Once you've had a bit of a workout, you can try spins, jumps and slaloms. And you want more adrenaline? How about an obstacle course?

Surfing on the river and inside
Good news! You don't have to go far to surf. Just drive to the Elbe River and enjoy surfing on a wild wave in your own home. A group of surfers put their heads together and you can enjoy their feat in the form of an artificial wave near Brandýs nad Labem. Another opportunity to have fun in the waves is right in Prague. Even as a complete beginner you can enjoy a sea of fun in the Prague Surf Arena.

Paddleboard
You'veprobably already heard about paddleboarding because its popularity is skyrocketing. But the question is whether you have tried it yet. It doesn't matter how old you are, this sport is for everyone who wants to stretch their body. Paddleboarding engages all your muscles and gives you a good mid-body workout. Unlike surfing, you don't need waves to move forward, you just need a paddle. Thanks to this, you can also ride on calm water, so even those who do not seek adrenaline can enjoy paddleboarding.
Underwater experiences
Take a deep breath, this experience will go deep. When freediving , you'll enjoy complete freedom without an oxygen tank. The freediving fins will help you to dive better and make it a joy to dive with. And if you don't feel up to it yet, try a diving course first to gain confidence underwater.
If you can't decide what to try first, think of our article as a checklist and tick off one by one. And what you don't catch up with this year, you'll catch up with next year.
