Gift guide

Did you go to so much trouble to choose a gift that it would be a shame to just wrap it in a wrapping bag? You can make the handover an unforgettable experience that will make the joy of the gift even greater. How to do it?

Gift Hide

Children are not the only ones who like games. Even an adult toy will enjoy a gift-hiding game where he or she has to find the gift first. Because we all like to figure things out for ourselves, don't we. You can stash small gifts around the apartment like this, but for larger gifts like skis or a bike, direct the recipient to the garden or garage where they'll be waiting.

So instead of a gift, just hand over a box with instructions on how to find it. This can be in the form of a map, a secret code, a Morse code, a crossword puzzle, verse riddles or clues that are underlined in a book. You can also write the clues on paper that you cut up so that the giftee has to fold them first, or you can write them backwards and let the brain cells cook a little. It's up to your imagination. If you're not much for making things up, let others do it for you.

Of course, the gift doesn't have to be at the first hiding place, there may be another clue waiting instead, which will lead to another, which will lead to another. But again, don't overdo it, let the search have a happy ending.

On the tree instead of under the tree.

A hiding place, albeit a little easier, can be prepared by placing small presents not under the tree but directly among the ornaments. It won't completely boil your brain, but it will be fun too. Don't forget to wrap such presents nicely.

A truly original wrapping

Even without searching, the handover can be unforgettable. For example, if you wrap the gift in one of our original gift packages. A beer or wine tasting set or any other gift, including experiences, fits perfectly into a wooden box with a crowbar. The joy of a hand-crafted gift is simply indescribable! But it doesn't end with the box. You can hand over the gift in a stylish box, which can then serve as a hiding place for your trinkets.

And if you still find it too serious, gift wrapping in the form of a funny paper, aka toilet paper, which contains a card with a gift voucher, name and dedication, definitely won't disappoint.

Be personal

Accompany your gift with a card that's a little more playful. You can create it the old-fashioned way by hand (you can find plenty of tutorials online), or you can play graphic designer in Canva, a free online editor where anyone can create a nice card.

Don't leave gift cards without text

Have you bought a gift voucher or are you about to create a personalised one? But what to write on it? Don't worry, it's not an essay and no one will mark you for it. Be personal and write from the heart. After all, who else knows the recipient better than you.

Make a joke

Does the recipient have a sense of humour? Wrap the gift in a box that is not related to the gift at all. Just make sure that when you unwrap it, you're relieved and not disappointed if the box promises more enticing contents than it actually contains.

We hope you enjoy the presentation and that the gifts make you happy!
