Escape games for kids who love puzzles
Escape games are definitely not just for adults. In Prague, you can find several options just for kids - with a fairy tale story, reasonably difficult puzzles, and most importantly, no scares. Children's escape games are usually tailored for family teams, so younger siblings or parents can get involved too. The perfect program for a weekend, rainy afternoon or birthday party, what do you say?
There are dozens of escape games for kids in Prague. Worth mentioning is definitely the escape game Zlobr, where kids will go to a fairytale world based on Shrek. You don't need to know how to read or count to solve the challenges, so even the little ones can play. Adventure awaits you in the fresh air as you set out to uncover the mystery of Charles Bridge in an original outdoor escape game.
Etnadrom: The largest digital car track in the Czech Republic for young and old enthusiasts alike
Are you looking for a family outing in Prague that will entertain young and old car fans alike? If so, head to Etnadrom - a digital car track where you don't just drive cars on the carpet. Here, kids and adults alike can try their hand at driving supercars such as Ferraris, Porsches and Audi R8s on a 31-metre-long track with tunnels, pits and a sizzling Etna in the background.

The experience in Prague is ideal for children from about 6 years old, but it is also fun for dads and moms who like to race with the whole family. Up to 6 riders can race at the same time.
TIP: Check out our review of the Etnadrom race track, which we went to Kobylis to test for ourselves.
Flying in a wind tunnel for little adventurers aged 6 and up
It may sound like an adrenaline rush for adults, but believe it or not - the wind tunnel is an experience that children as young as 6 can try. In a safe environment and under the supervision of an experienced instructor, little flyers will experience what it's like to soar through the air like a bird. The flight takes place in a protective suit, with a helmet, goggles, and most importantly with a huge dose of enthusiasm.
You can enjoy flying in the wind tunnel as a family, or let the kids fly through on their own - the tunnel is transparent and you'll always be able to see them. You can also take some great photos right away as a souvenir. If you're looking for a place to go with small children in Prague without the risk of boredom, you've come to the right place.

Virtual reality as entertainment from the future
Rain outside your windows doesn't have to mean boredom at home. And what to do in Prague when it rains? Go to another world, literally. Try VR paintball, where you and your kids can enjoy thrilling action without bruises or mud, or head straight to the Zero Latency VR game room, where you move around the 150 m² area completely freely - no cables or obstacles lurking around. There's a space mission, an escape from zombies or a journey into the world of Far Cry. The ideal indoor experience for children and parents who want to enjoy an unconventional adventure together.
TIP: If you don't want to go anywhere, have the VR set delivered to your home, you can rent it for 2 days or even 10.
Learn something new with your kids
In Prague, you'll find experiences that will entertain, educate, and bring the whole family together. A great choice is the blacksmithing course for children and parents, where little helpers can try their hand at forging their own product - whether it's a lucky horseshoe or a small souvenir knife - under the supervision of an experienced craftsman. Everything is safe, playful and suitable even for beginners.

If you have a sweet tooth at home, you can head to a children's cooking course in Prague - perhaps a course focused on sushi preparation. Children aged 6 and up will learn the basic procedures, master the rolling technique in a fun way and, of course, eat their creations with gusto at the end.
Weekend fun in Prague for little naturalists
Do you have a little explorer at home who loves animals and plants indiscriminately? Then take him to Prague's Troja - there are 2 places he'll love: Prague Zoo and Prague Botanical Garden.
The Children's Zoo with goats and rabbits to pet and feed, adventure trails, rope bridges or a ride on the children's tram await children at the zoo. There are also guided feeding sessions on weekends, so you can learn lots of interesting facts about even the biggest furries.
Right next door you'll find the Botanical Garden. Stroll through the Japanese Garden, among the succulents or through the North American Prairie. And when it rains? The Fata Morgana greenhouse will save the day, with its tropical rainforest, ponds and butterflies flying right by you.
Both places are perfectly prepared for visits with children - there are changing tables, refreshments and rest areas. So if you're wondering where to go with small children in Prague for a weekend trip, this is a safe bet. And you'll learn something too.
Where to go with small children under 3 years old on a weekend in Prague?
Even the little ones deserve a good trip, even if they're not running around on their own yet. For example, you can go to Kunratice Forest, which is an ideal place for a quiet walk with a stroller. There are several marked trails through the forest, which are paved and suitable for strollers. During your walk, you may come across a grove with an enclosure for fallow deer and roe deer.

Or head to the Malá Chuchle zoo, where you can see animals from the Czech forests, from foxes and lynx to fallow deer, wild boar and the great bull. Admission is also free.
With small children, you can also go to the aforementioned zoo or botanical zoo, which are also adapted for strollers.
And where to go with small children around Prague when the weather is nice?
Even outside of Prague, there are plenty of adventures to be had with children - and often without the crowds and queues. If you fancy a trip out of town, head for Ladovy Hrusice in the footsteps of Mikes the cat. This picturesque village with its nature trail, wooden statues and fairytale atmosphere is perfect for younger children and fairytale lovers.
On the other side, in the Polabí region, you will find the Polabské ethnographic museum in Přerov nad Labem - a beautiful open-air museum with historic cottages, animals and wooden playgrounds where children can play and learn something from our past.
You can also go to the Chleby Zoo near Nymburk. This garden is smaller, quieter, and still offers a lot to experience. The area is literally a paradise for little adventurers - look forward to the contact enclosures where you can see the animals up close, a great playground, a giant trampoline to play on and lots of fun stations where children can learn something.
Now you won't know where to go first in Prague with small children, will you? But don't worry, the listed experiences won't go anywhere and you can try them one by one. And when you've finished checking them out, be sure to check out the other Prague experiences we've prepared for you. Just make sure you have fun together.
