„It was my first experience behind a kniple so I have no chance to compare yet. Too bad some of the components didn't work (turn signal, front suspension control). The instructor was knowledgeable and willing to answer my probing questions. From the sifted seats, it's obvious that the simulator has many hours on it and could probably use some maintenance. The overall impression was good and I got a good idea of how difficult it is to pilot an aircraft in adverse weather conditions. I was surprised by the somewhat poor view from the pilot's position. The amount of instruments the pilot has to monitor is so high that an untrained eye can easily miss even significant deviations from the correct readings. The synthetic language of the system (warning messages) is surprisingly at a low level of intelligibility (perhaps this corresponds to the early days of development in this field) and I assume that in current versions of avionics it could already be at a higher level. For beginners, it would not be a bad idea to put a description of the cockpit controls on the website so that they can better prepare for their first flight, as a ten-minute pre-flight briefing is damn short for a complete beginner.“
