The blacksmithing course is designed for beginners and intermediate students and starts with a short theoretical part. Here you will learn what blacksmithing techniques exist, what materials are used and how to work safely in the workshop. This is followed by the practical part - working with fire, metal and forging tools, during which you will forge your own product of choice under the supervision of an experienced blacksmith. It could be a bottle opener, a Celtic knife, a pendant, a horseshoe, a shoehorn or an axe.
When you're done, you'll have a tour of Fort Křelov XVII. where you'll find a museum, historical workshops such as a weaving or bookmaking shop, a shooting range, a cinematograph and a narrated tour guide. And if you want, you can also taste the home-made hand-roasted coffee from the castellan. The whole tour takes about an hour.

Hello, I have a question - where can I write a review for this experience? Yesterday my husband and I took a blacksmithing course with a tour of the fort and although we were skeptical at first about the gift we received, we ended up being very connected, The hour long tour with great commentary and the three hour blacksmithing course with the amazing master blacksmith and his lovely wife made our Saturday very enjoyable. It was a great experience, highly recommended! Many thanks to all.
