Family blacksmith course at Fort XVII

Upon arrival at Fort XVII, you will be introduced to the environment of the forge, safety rules and the forging craft itself. Under the guidance of an experienced blacksmith, you will try your hand at working at the forge, basic forging techniques and shaping hot metal. The course is adapted for children and adults, so that both beginners and inquisitive little smiths can enjoy it. All options also include a tour of the historic Fort XVII and, for the longest option, lunch.
