„I enjoyed the two-day course. I had slightly different expectations at first, but in the broader context of what the course is measured against, I understood the context. What I might clarify, from my perspective, this is not a one-off experience. Rather, it is a sort of taster for enthusiasts who want to be prepared for the various pitfalls that today's world can bring, from being alone in the woods without food to more dangerous situations. It's for enthusiasts who want to give it their all and progress through the qualifications. You'll discover how little time there is in a weekend to be able to really look after yourself. There are quite a lot of topics covered, Sasha does a lot of theoretical stuff, i.e. explaining the "what, how, when and why". You have a lot of respect for his experience and you can tell that his personality makes you really pay attention. It can also happen that if you miss a part, your inattentiveness sets a mirror to you very quickly. Yes, the course is run semi-militarily and I would just make a correction here...if you have a problem with authority and you resent the military or the military type of leadership, you have a problem with discipline, really consider if you are the right person to do it so you don't suffer those two days unnecessarily. However, you don't have to worry about being yelled at on your first familiarization course. Sasha has a calm manner, tries to guide you where you need to go and emphasizes discipline. Personally, I would perhaps recommend that the "introductory courses" could be themed, i.e. that they only touch on certain areas. Otherwise, thank you again, Sasha, it was an experience.“

„The course absolutely exceeded expectations! The instructor was really an expert with experience, the explanation was clear, very comprehensive, adapted to beginners and he was able to answer every question with examples from real situations. At the beginning I was surprised that the course was conceived in a light military mode, which was not quite obvious from the description, but it did not matter at all - on the contrary. However, the illustrative photographs showing improvised fire-making with sticks (we only worked with flint), securing or processing food, and archery were somewhat incongruous - we didn't get to these points, but I don't know when we would have found the space to do so during the two days anyway - there was still too much activity and information to be able to thoroughly absorb everything. In terms of physical demands, one sweated a couple of times, but it was not downright extreme - a 15 year old lady and a gentleman 60+ took the course with me. We met a good group there and we are thinking about the next, more advanced, level.“
