The Sonka log cabin in the Slovakian Kysuce Mountains just a short distance from the Czech border will turn those dreams into reality. For two nights, it will be yours alone, including all the amenities, including a sauna and a hot tub, where you can jump in to regenerate your body after exploring the beautiful surroundings. By the way, you don't just have to explore on your own, there are 4 electric bikes for rent in the picturesque Slovakian cottage.
Comfort for up to 10 people
Where will you lay your head? The cottage offers 4 separate bedrooms with 8 full-size beds, 2 extra beds, a cot and 2 sofa beds. You will also find a modern kitchen connected to the living room, where you will find a fireplace that invites you to sit in the evening. You won't be squeezed in the bathroom either. There are 2 of them, as well as toilets.
Breathe in every season
Renting a Sonka cottage in Slovakia is worthwhile in every season. During the warm months you can enjoy (cycling) hiking full of great views, swimming in the Nová Bystrica reservoir, renting scooters or having fun on the bobsleigh track. You can also use the cable car (even with a bicycle) and enjoy the views even without a hike.
What about in winter? The Snowparadise / Velká Rača ski resort is located near the chalet, offering various attractions for children and adults.
Where to go for food?
Don't feel like cooking? Never mind! There are several restaurants in the Oščadnica valley and directly opposite the cottage there is the Kysucká koliba and a short walk away the Solisko guesthouse, where you can go for lunch and dinner.

Your three-day stay in the mountains of Slovakia takes place just a few kilometres from the Czech border. Yet you will find yourself in a completely different world where there is no room for everyday worries. You can rent the chalet with your loved one, but it can accommodate up to 10 people. Don't forget to take a group of friends or the whole family and enjoy relaxing in the mountain air together.
