Air traffic controller on probation Prague 6

„Amazing experience! First ultra condensed theory presented by a former driver with decades of experience. But it was definitely not boring, we took it quite freely and often asked questions and talked. Then a short trip to the driving centre in Jence, where we watched the driving hall from the gallery and the guide explained who does what, how it works etc. It's just a pity that they didn't let us into the salon, but that's understandable :) And after returning from Jence we were taken over by a simulator instructor and we tried a training scenario of (simplified) traffic control at Ruzyne in 360 simulator. When you sit and look around you can follow it, but when you sit down to it, it's a different story. But I'd do it again anyway :) Then the instructor took part of the scenario and you can watch it. Hats off also to the pseudo-pilot, who not only speaks for all the planes, but also enters commands into the terminal for the simulator, what to do which plane. How he does it, I really don't know :) I definitely recommend it to everyone who is interested. “

Finally, a briefing and a lesson in traffic control on the 360° tower simulator of Prague airport, including communication with pseudo-pilots and a few surprises to make it more interesting. Finally, a gift bag with souvenirs of the RCF flight school. An interesting afternoon with nice people.“
