Surfing is love at first wave. That incredible feeling when you stand on the board and ride your first wave smoothly from the beginning almost to the shore is absolutely unique. But where can you surf in our country? Unfortunately, we still don't have a sea or an ocean. This troubled many passionate surfers, so a group of them decided to build an artificial wave in Brandýs nad Labem, which is the first static wave in the Czech Republic. Here, every water sports enthusiast can surf on a stable wave for 2 hours in a row! There's no need for paddling or waiting for a wave. You just jump into the water, stand on the board, and enjoy the ride.

Surfing on the artificial wave in the Elbe River takes place from spring to autumn. To tame the wave, all you need are swim trunks and a sense of adventure. Equipment, including a wetsuit, will be provided on-site. Then, an instructor will take you under their wing, guiding you through the surfing technique. They can either teach you from scratch or help you refine your existing skills. If you're over 15 and drawn to new adventures, head to Brandýs nad Labem and hit the artificial wave, which is just as fun as those in the open sea!
