Then why not take a closer look! He now has the opportunity to experience this ancient art of hunting for himself right in the castle. During a one- or two-day falconry course at Sychrov Castle, he will get to know several dozen species of birds of prey and learn how to handle them. During the day, they will go on a walk together with a falconer, during which the birds of prey will fly around them and show them various tricks. The two-day falconry course then goes much more in depth, is more theory-oriented and all participants will learn really everything related to this art.

In the magical setting of Sychrov Chateau, each attendee will get to try what it's like to work with large birds of prey. An experienced falconer will unravel the secrets of the ancient art of falconry. It's a special way of hunting with the use of large trained birds of prey—mostly falcons, eagles, and hawks—which has been used for centuries. Since 2016, Czech falconry has even been listed by UNESCO as a Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity. And this masterpiece is waiting for him.
In the course of 8 or 16 hours, he will get to know several dozen species of Czech and foreign birds of prey, learn how to handle them safely to ensure that they are not dangerous to themselves or the surroundings, and, among other things, to learn how to make a bird of prey land on his glove.
