The course takes place in Bedřichov, which is considered one of the best locations for cross-country skiing in the Czech Republic - and no wonder. It lies in a picturesque corner of the Jizera Mountains, surrounded by deep forests, white plains and dozens of kilometres of groomed trails. Moreover, the local cross-country skiing infrastructure is renowned - from parking to facilities to the Jizera Highway itself. At the same time, Bedřichov is very accessible - from Prague you can reach it in less than an hour, from Liberec and Jablonec in a few minutes.

The intensive cross-country skiing course starts at the pre-arranged location from 9:00. Ideally, arrive 10 minutes early so you can get there without stress.
Course schedule:
- 9:00-9:10 - Opening: You will receive basic information about the program, lubricate your skis if needed, and get going.
- 9:15-11:15 - Morning Lesson: You'll have your first two-hour block of practice. You'll gradually learn proper cross-country skiing technique, improve your balance, and try a few games or competitions to make your practice more fun.
- 11:15-12:00 - Lunch break: The length of the break can be adapted to the needs of the group after discussion with the instructor. Lunch is not included in the price of the course.
- 12:30-14:30 - Afternoon lesson: A follow-up session where you will reinforce what you have learned in the morning and get additional tips and tricks for efficient cross-country skiing.
- 14:45 - Wrap-up: At the end, you'll get feedback, space for questions and recommendations for the next session. You can also get advice on equipment selection or appropriate trails in the area.
Cross-country skiing course price includes:
- the services of a professional instructor,
- 4 hours of intensive lessons,
- games and competitions to improve technique,
- ski waxing + ski wax rental.
What you should know:
- Courses are held with a minimum of 3 participants. The capacity is set so that there is a maximum of 7-10 people per instructor, but in practice groups are usually smaller - usually 3 to 5 people.
- To participate in the course, you need your own skis, boots and poles (or rent them in advance at the rental shop). It will be an advantage if you wax your skis at home.
- The cross-country skiing course is suitable for all athletes from 12 years of age upwards (up to 15 with adult accompaniment).
- If the weather is not favourable, the course will be rescheduled to another date by appointment.
