Want to try freefall at speeds around 200 km/h? Head to the airport in Znojmo and experience a tandem parachute jump with an experienced instructor behind your back. First, you will enjoy a scenic flight that will take you up to 3000 to 4000 meters high. During this, you'll be strapped in by your instructor and once you're cleared to jump, you'll freefall for up to a minute to the ground. What an adrenaline rush! The experience then continues with an open parachute coaching session, during which you'll enjoy spectacular views and divine tranquility. First, a short briefing on how to do tandem jumps. What (not) to do, how to prepare for the jump, and what to do before landing. Then the jumpsuit and the skydiving equipment and on the plane we go!
All instructors are trained professionals and have been jumping for years. They put all newbies at ease with jokes so they can enjoy the experience to the max as well. As soon as the plane is high enough, the instructor straps the jumper to himself, sticks his feet out of the plane, and off they go! The less fearful ones can try spinning and other tricks to pass the time.
After about a minute of free fall, the parachute opens, and within another 10 minutes, the new skydiver can enjoy the bird's eye view and try manoeuvring.
Tandem skydiving experiences are always similar – the initial slight nervousness, then the excitement and euphoria, and feeling like it went by too fast.
You can try tandem skydiving at several locations across the country. For example in Prostějov, Liberec, and even Znojmo.
Are 4 kilometers not enough? Then choose another tandem skydiving experience, such as the incredible 6km one, or a basic parachuting course.
