Veľký Kyseľ Via Ferrata

In Slovenský raj, you will head into the Veľký Kyseľ gorge, where steel cables, ladders and rock faces await. Your instructor will teach you correct belaying, climbing techniques and how to use the equipment. The wild nature of Slovenský raj, with its rocky gorge, streams and waterfalls, provides a spectacular setting for the whole adventure.

The full course lasts approximately 4 to 7 hours, depending on your chosen location, conditions on the via ferrata and participants’ abilities. The experience also includes photos and videos provided electronically.

Is the via ferrata course suitable for complete beginners?
Yes. Complete beginners are welcome to take part. You should, however, be able to manage a hike of approximately six hours.

What is the minimum age for the via ferrata course?
The course is suitable for children aged 8 and over. Participants under the age of 18 need written consent from a parent or legal guardian.

Do I need my own via ferrata equipment?
No, complete via ferrata equipment can be hired.
