How do you even ski on wooden skis? Especially the old-school handmade ones? You can try that on a unique skiing course whee you will have a chance to go downhill on these wooden beauties. Did you know they are made from a single piece of ash wood? That's pretty complicated, the wood must be flawless and straight. After it is cut, it is planed into a rough ski shape, the tips and the under-heel arches are bent under pressure, and they are left to dry in a special chamber for a month. Honest work simply needs time.

How do you ride wooden skis that are made pretty old-fashioned by hand? This is what participants will experience on a skiing course, during which they will ride these gems on the slopes.The 7-hour course promises a lot of fun like in historical films. During the course, participants will learn how to ski in a telemark stance or a sweeping arc. For this, they will of course receive authentic caves and wooden poles. Even modern clothing will suffice, but those who want to perfect their skiing outfit should not take it lightly! The slopes in the Giant Mountains or the Orlické Mountains will be used.

Hello, I would like to take the course on building skis and then a course on how to use them. Is it possible to do the build on Saturday and the ski lesson on Sunday? Or do I need to go two weekends? I'd be interested in going this weekend or next if possible.
