Úé nikové games have experiencedéé worldé goldé periodé, in the Czeché republic there are more than 300 of them and everyý day moreýé more&scaron& í and more&scaron& í. Someé are basedé on a realé run, othersé on a computeré game or film, and in othersé there are tastings... Someé escape games are outdoors, someé are indoors, someé will lock you in a má room and you'll be bá someé will solveé colaé and há danky like Indiana Jones or a detective...eachá is differentá, yet the bestá ú ú nikes haveá something in commoné. What is it? That's what we asked the pros at únikovky, and we interviewed Radka on behalf of the whole bunch.

How did the nápad jít for the first ú únikovka come about?
It's about 4 years ago, somehow I got word that they opened a únik game in Jablonec. It was one of the firsté I noticed, or maybe the ú ú fully firstí. It happened to be my birthday at the time, so I invited all my friends to try it out with me.
And how did it go?
After we climbed, we were so overšení that it was clearé that it was definitely not ourše lastú ú nick. That's where it started and since then we've done more than 30 of them. We always had one game, then a two-hour break and then anotherš… That's howí we're nuts :-)
With whoým you there? Bring nám a little bit of youráí bunch of hrámen
With theáteles thatáwe often go toánické games with. Thereás 6 of them, if someone canát, we replace them with someone we know, but mostáothers go in the sameá lineup. We are such aá group, with whom we have been going to children'sá tá fights for manyá years, they are the leader, Iá cooká and we do all this just for fun, for charity. Well, because I'm generally playful, we've been playing in the únikesýs.
We are 2 guys and 4 women of differenté ages, I'm overš 50, they are youngš í around 20, 30 years old.

Have you been to more than 30 únikes, what does a únik have to út for a únik to get you excited?"
The best ú´ únikes have ú commonýr points – are basedé on reálném fromáclade, it is provableé that something like that has happened or was happening there. Like the time we were in the míhundred, where in 2012 or so, they discovered a huge fistír of marijuana and two walledé Vietnamese men whoí were incrediblyšhappyí to be let out. On such aémíwall then úfully feelítíte the atmosphereéru and theárun inás as if engulfedí. Which is anotherší point. And also nás funá outdoorá únic games, like the ones from Hunter games, greatá is like The Curse of Vyšehrad.
A very importantým point is toýruný and that the úrounds build on each other in a meaningful way, not toý nás just openárat sequentially withárii ofámks when they donát evenámakeásense of their orderá, theárun doesnát play a liveád role there, etc. In the last únick, for example, we got out and didn't even know how or why. And that's not so much fun.

And what isšyou?
Baví nás, when the game is variabilní, when you solve&scaron& íme hádanky, openíráme ofámky, we have toí work together and maybe hold hands and then change something… when it's so diverseá. Among the únikes, you can tell when it's done by a ú overšenec and when someone is just working there and it's práce like everyá otherá.
That's anotherší thing– a hugeým plus is when the&strong>gamemaster there is the person whoúcreated theúniche. Because after the game is over, we want to have fun with the impressions and adrenaline of some ý&years, we want to talk to ý&years;data about what we experienced, what we did špatně, how the úwheels formed, why the ú úniková game was created and why exactly on that míst where it is... when we get out and then they just say "bye bye", there's something wrong.
Why the nickels? There are so many options where you can get your adrenaline pumping
That's for sure, nás just got únickels though. There s an adrenaline rush in em, a fun nás that we escape from reality for an hour and find ourselves in another world, mus We have to think together, to work together in rámci the wholeé party, an individual withám about himself canát do anything, but in týhim it always dáme. Of course, nás also have funá winningávat and breaking records. One in Liberec, for example, we've been holding one for a long time.
According to estimates, there are around 20,000 different úc únikovýc games in the world, in the Czech Republic we have around threeác hundreds of them and about half of them are in Prague. Radka and her team have already played an incredible tenth of this huge number, and what about you?
