It's 5:00 in the morning. My alarm rings and I jump out of bed surprisingly quickly. It's here! Finally, the day is here when we are going to test bikes from BMW and TM Racing.
After arriving at the train station in Svitavy, we had a 15-minute drive to Lanškroun, where there is a beautiful motocross track with a preparation meadow in the middle of a field, so that each participant could test in peace and quiet how the bikes behave.
"Sure, I get it... I want to ride now"
After training, gear fitting and the basics of safe motorcycle riding, I was given a choice of 12 beautiful bikes. It may seem like a boring thing to do, but for me it was like being a little kid again and being let into the world's biggest toy store that has huge jars of free candy. Just paradise .... and that was yet to come.
"I'll take this beauty!"
The first bike I tried was the TM Racing 450, an enduro bike with incredible twist. First, the instructor rode ahead of me to give me a good look at the track, and then I was off on my own to meet my secret dreams. After a few laps in the meadow, I found out what this beast could do. My arms were aching after a few minutes, I didn't want to stop but I wanted to try another bike.

I chose the TM Racing 350 next, the "weaker" sibling of the first bike, as the instructor explained. I don't know what he judged it to be the "weaker" sibling, because I was flying around the meadow like a stampede. A wonderful feeling. Then I tried more, more and more motorbikes... I wanted to scream with joy, it's so awesome!
The best in the end
After about an hour of riding different bikes and getting used to the new bikes in the field, it hit me.Why I came. New bikes from German manufacturer BMW. 1250GS, 850 GS and 350GS - these are the numbers that keep bikers up at night. These are the best you can get from BMW. And that's what you want.
I've dreamed of riding this bike for years. So the first thing I did was immediately get behind the handlebars of my dream bike - the BMW 1250 GS. A legendary machine that probably needs no introduction. I've always dreamed of getting behind the handlebars of this beast and riding some serious terrain.
It's a beast!
But I had no idea what the 1250 GS could actually do. If you love riding motorcycles like I do, you'll be surprised at the incredible simplicity of the controls, how easily you can cut corners and how easily you can move even a monster like this. As the instructor said, the riders are the weakest link on these bikes.
What can I say in conclusion?
Absolutely awesome. Every biker's dream come true. Euphoria. Huge emotional charge. I need it again! And again! And I want those bikes home! And not go to work and ride them all the time...
