The water is splashing, the sun is burning, the engine of a jet ski is roaring in the distance and you are standing on a pontoon, in a wetsuit, with jets under your feet. Maybe your knees are shaking a little, maybe your stomach is a little queasy... But then the moment comes - the water beneath you part and you shoot up. That's when it dawns on you, "Damn, I'm really flying!"
That's exactly the feeling Adam describes when he went on an Adrenaline Day on the Vltava River near Prague. And because he couldn't decide which of the "water attractions" he would choose, he tried all three. And he definitely didn't regret it!

A team of professionals, a great atmosphere and a choice on the spot
"Right from the moment we arrived, the team took care of us, explained everything, showed us around. A really professional approach. What surprised me was that you don't have to decide in advance what you want to try. On the spot, you get to see all of them and then you choose," says Adam, describing the start of his day.
In fact, the experience offers the option to buy a universal voucher and then decide on the spot whether to try the Flyboard, Hoverboard or Jetpack. Or all three.
"Of course I wanted to try everything," Adam adds with a laugh. And here's his take on each experience:
Flyboard: feeling like Iron Man
"I started with the Flyboard- if the word 'balance' is foreign to you, it's a piece of cake. And even if it is, you'll get the hang of Flyboarding after a while and you'll enjoy the hell out of it. I felt a bit like Iron Man, you just really fly!"
The Flyboard launches you above the surface using a powerful jet of water that flows through nozzles beneath your feet. You float above the water, make turns and feel like a superhero. And as Adam says, fun to the max.
Hoverboard: snowboarding on water
The second challenge? Hoverboard. "That felt more pro. What the instructors could do on it was really incredible. Again, it's about balance, correcting your feet and trying not to fall right off. I felt like I was snowboarding and the instructor was giving me advice the whole time, so I was able to successfully ride on the water afterwards."
The hoverboard is a bit more challenging to coordinate, but all the more rewarding when you finally get a ride on it. A great choice for anyone who likes a challenge and is no stranger to snowboarding.
Jetpack: a superhero in the air
Adam saved the Jetpack for last. "There it was all about the hands and the head. Even though I thought I understood it, in the water it was different. But thanks to the instructor's constant support and advice, I got it after a few minutes and was able to experience that great feeling. Your head shuts off, your legs are flailing in the air and you can feel like a superhero with just a few light hand strokes. It was perfect."
The Jetpack floats you with a water jet attached to its back. You control it by moving your arms and body - and when you get the hang of it, you fly like you're in an action movie.
The verdict?
"Whatever you choose, nothing will disappoint. Each thing has its own thing. And if you want to have a great day out with a great bunch of instructors, like me - buy all three straight away. It's worth it!"
The experience is available for ages 16 and up. Kids and younger ones can try the flyboard itself. You will be given the necessary equipment and detailed instruction on site. You can enjoy a lot of fun and have the whole experience filmed on a GoPro. You'll leave smiling, full of adrenaline and feeling like you've finally tried something really different.
