My experience
I arrived at Owell Studio full of expectations. The studio is located in the first reinforced concrete building in Prague, in a pleasant location and I was surrounded by a family atmosphere as soon as I entered. The smell of natural oils and the peaceful environment made me feel that I was in for a truly relaxing experience.
First impression and welcome
Upon entering, I was greeted by a smiling Mrs. Suchánková, who briefly introduced me and described what to expect. No one pushed me anywhere, the atmosphere was calm and relaxed.
The course of procedures
1. Skin preparation, cleansing and hydration
Cleansing the skin is essential. Depending on my skin type, I was treated to a gentle steam treatment followed by a cavitation peel. The most interesting part was working with the ultrasonic spatula, which took care of the deep cleansing. Finally, I enjoyed a hyaluronic facial mask which left my skin beautifully hydrated and glowing.
2. Facelifting massage
The absolute highlight of the treatment! A unique massage according to Robert Al Aref using precious oils to perfectly circulate and regenerate the skin. Ms Suchánková focused on specific points of the facial muscles and literally lifted my features using stretching strokes. My skin was tighter, the puffiness disappeared and I felt younger - not only in appearance, but also in spirit.
3. Application of vitamin serum
Since the weather was favoring me with sunshine, my skin was treated with vitamin C serum. For cooler days, there would be a retinol option, which is ideal for rejuvenation, but be careful in the sun with it!
4. Galvanic iron
This treatment was really interesting. The device literally "ironed out" fine lines and noticeably softened the deeper ones. Plus, it helped the vitamin serum penetrate the deeper layers of the skin.
5. Facial biolamp
During this part of the treatment, I was immersed in relaxation. The biolamp activates the skin, promoting collagen production and unifying skin tone. And while the lamp worked, I wore moisturizing wrap gloves on my hands - because who wants their hands to be the ones to give away their age?
The full package of beauty treatments includes:
- 45 minutes of cleansing and moisturizing
- 45 minutes of facelift massage
- 5 minutes of vitamin serum application
- 10 minutes with a galvanic iron
- 25 minutes with facial bio-lamp and moisturizing gloves
What is good to know before the treatment?
This treatment is suitable for women and men of all ages. Mrs Suchánková recommends booking at least 3 weeks in advance. However, the treatment is not suitable for skin conditions, unhealed wounds or cold sores. The procedure should also be postponed by those who are shortly after surgery in the facial area or suffer from jaw or dental diseases.
For the perfect finishing touch, enjoy a glass of sparkling wine, herbal tea or a cup of coffee after all treatments. I opt for a delicious cup of coffee and go to interview Mrs. Suchanek about anything that I am interested in and that might be useful to our clients.

How did the studio come into being?
"We started 15 years ago, then under a different name and in different premises. The impulse was my daughter, who has a disability, and we wanted to create a family business. Gradually, my second daughter joined us. We started with massages, today we offer wellness treatments, dry carbonic baths, inversion chairs, collagenarium and much more. The name Owell means "well" - all right and "well" - wellness."
What cosmetics do you use?
"We use natural cosmetics, especially the Israeli brand Christina and the natural products Nature Vital by Mrs. Lenka Hudová. We don't use mineral oils because they are from petroleum. On the contrary, we rely on vegetable oils and natural scrubs, for example from the dead sea, rice or cotton. However, we are constantly testing new products to ensure the most pleasant experience for our clients."
What requests do clients most often come in with? Are they looking more for relaxation or solutions to specific problems?
"It's a combination of both. Clients often come to us first to relax and unwind, and when they are satisfied, they recommend our services further. We also provide specific recommendations for exercises that they can practice at home."
Are there health restrictions?
"Yes. The treatments are not suitable for pregnancy, cancer, antibiotic use or viral illnesses. We always consult thoroughly with clients beforehand. We do not perform massages on clients taking psychopharmaceuticals."
What kind of occupancy to count on?
"We recommend booking at least 3 weeks to a month in advance. However, sometimes space becomes available sooner if someone cancels their booking."
What are your plans for the future?
"We plan to expand our beauty services. But not a new branch, the current studio suits us perfectly. We would like to combine more cosmetics with massages to make the care more comprehensive."
Do you have a philosophy that you would like to pass on to your clients?
Our philosophy is a holistic approach that connects body, mind and soul. We believe that true health and well-being comes from the harmony of these three areas. We use only natural methods and products, deliberately avoiding mineral and synthetic products. A key part of our approach is open and individual communication with each client, allowing us to better understand their needs and offer tailored care.

The rejuvenating beauty treatment at Owell was an absolutely fantastic experience. Every stage of the treatment was carried out with the utmost care and professionalism. Tip for you
The effects of the treatments last for several days. I recommend regular treatments every 4 to 6 weeks for long-lasting effects. And remember - your hands reveal more than you think, so get them pampered too!
