Complete course to obtain a skipper's licence

The intensive skipper course will take you through the theory and practice, both on a sailing boat and on a motorboat.

The prerequisite for the practical part of the course is suitable weather conditions - the course is not held in strong winds above 15 m/s, storms and persistent rain. Clothing for sailing should be adapted to the weather. On sunny days, pack sunglasses, a hat and sunscreen; on cooler days, a windbreaker and sweater are suitable. In any case, wear sports shoes without black soles.

The price of the boat pass includes:

• complete learning material,
• two days of theoretical training with an instructor (held in České Budějovice),
• 4 hours with an instructor on a motorboat (dock in Hluboká nad Vltavou),
• 6 hours with an instructor on a sailing boat (Landal Marina Lipno),
• Captain's license tests - exam before representatives of the State Navigation Administration (held in Hluboká nad Vltavou, Prague, Decin or Přerov),
• postage.

What do you need for the theoretical exam?

• Certificate of medical fitness with the stamp of a medical practitioner (not older than 3 months from the date of application),
• application for examination (printed or in electronic form),
• pay an administrative fee of 500 kc for taking the exam (in the case of online submission, pay by bank transfer),
• certificate of practice.
