At Horní sedlo in the Lusatian Mountains you will not only have an unforgettable experience, but also the opportunity to learn everything you need for safe sand climbing. Unlike sport routes, there is no room for dynamic jumps. Sandstone will teach you concentration, patience and confidence in yourself.
The individual sandstone climbing course takes place in the picturesque setting of the Upper Saddle on the Upper Rocks, also known as the Obrvégry. Eight impressive towers with names such as the Great and Little Death, the Liberec Tower and the Tooth offer varied climbing terrain for both beginners and advanced climbers. Will you choose between a one-day course or an intensive two-day experience where you will have the space to hone your skills and master advanced rope techniques?

The programme of the individual sandstone climbing course will be tailored to your requirements. Whether it be setting up a knot, belaying from above, catching falls or advanced rope techniques. At all times you will have a certified climbing instructor on hand to oversee the safety of the whole experience.
If you have your own equipment, be sure to bring it with you so you can climb comfortably. However, it is not a problem to rent it for free at the course.
The course only takes place in good weather, as the sandstone must always be dry for safe climbing. If the weather is not favourable, the instructor has the right to cancel the course at least 24 hours before the scheduled time.
