Via Ferrata in Austria: Kali, Kala, and Kalo

Once you arrive at the agreed location at the parking lot near Ramsau am Dachstein, you and your instructor head towards the via ferrata, during which time you will be familiarized with the equipment and the principles of how to move safely while climbing. Once you're ready, you embark on the ascent, which takes around 1 to 5 hours, depending on your strength and determination. Once you've had enough, you head back to the car. However, you will already be spending the 40-minute journey sharing your impressions of crossing the via ferrata in one of Austria's most popular tourist destinations.

The price of via ferrata climbing in Austria includes:

• rental of climbing equipment – climbing harness, rappel brake with carabiners, anchoring carabiner, helmet;

• presence of an instructor throughout the ascent and descent,

• several photos taken by the instructor.

Price does not include:

• traveling to and from Austria,

• parking fees,

• travel insurance including mountain service intervention (it is mandatory, you cannot participate in the experience without it),

• rental of ferrata gloves – for hygiene reasons you need to have your own (cycling or good quality work gloves will suffice).
