Adrenaline on the water for the adventurous
For those who crave excitement and adrenaline, there are a variety of water sports. Many of them can be enjoyed without the sea, so come and check them out. One popular summer pastime is flyboarding, where you can soar up to 10 metres above the water thanks to water jets attached to your feet!
Similarly, you can float above the water using a hoverboard, which looks like a snowboard with one water jet. If you want to play action hero, you can also try the jetpack, where you can float above the water with a special jetpack.
How about putting on your skis? You can do that while water skiing, where you'll wade through the water behind a speedboat, or try freestyle ski jumping with a landing pad in the water. If you want to push your skiing skills in the summer, a freestyle skiing lesson is perfect for you.
Sailing without a skipper's licence
Would you like to enjoy freedom with the wind at your back? Rent a sailboat! Sailing is an amazing water sport that almost anyone can try today, even without a skipper's license.
For example, during a romantic evening cruise on the Lipno River, you will have a captain with you throughout the experience to take care of the boat's operation. But you can also try driving on your own, for example during a weekend sailing trip on a sailing boat, where you can enjoy sunbathing, swimming and sleeping in the cabin.
If sailing excites you so much that you'd like to get your boat papers, we recommend the small craft skipper course to make that dream come true.
Scuba diving with oxygen even in one breath
Those who want to see beneath the surface shouldn't miss out on scuba diving courses. The test dives in Brno and Prague serve as an introduction to the world below the surface. In Liberec, you can dive in the deepest tower in the Czech Republic. And that the underwater experience caught you and did not let go? We also recommend trying a diving course, which will make your holiday by the sea much more enjoyable.
If you are brave enough to rely on yourself underwater, you should not miss the freediving course, during which you can dive into the depths in just one breath. After this course, you can easily stay underwater for 3 minutes and swim two or more pools in one go.
TIP: Do you want to dive with two people but your partner is not comfortable in the water? We recommend you try unblocking your fear of water with an experienced and empathetic instructor.

Paddleboarding as fun for the whole family
Paddleboarding can be a total breeze, as well as a decent adrenaline rush. It depends on where you take it. On calm water, it's great fun for the whole family, including the little ones. If you get on your board on a raging river, on the other hand, get ready for a good dose of adventure. And as a bonus, you'll get a full-body workout.
The best way to do this is to rent a paddleboard and try it out first - if you get hooked, it's no problem to get your own board, luckily it's one of the cheaper water sports. Plus, if you pay for a paddleboarding school, you'll be a total pro on the water.
Hit the waves, no need for the sea
Are you tempted by surfing, but you're not going to the sea? Go surfing on the river! Adrenaline surfing awaits you at Brandýs nad Labem, where several pro surfers have created ideal conditions for great surfing. You can tame the wave for up to 2 hours!
If the weather doesn't favour outdoor surfing, visit the only indoor surfing arena in the Czech Republic, where all water-lovers from 6 years of age can tame the waves.

Take to the rivers and dams
Do you want to go for a swim? Hop in a gondola and enjoy a cruise through Prague's Venice. If it's adventure you're after, you'll enjoy driving a speedboat that will take you across the Lipno River. And that you're enchanted by rafting down a wild river? Visit the kayak school in Bohemian Paradise and become a paddler as you should.
